that sounds like a good idea. honestly, if you do it right you will feel better about your ride being on the OG frame anyway. I'd box most of it in though.
You can get the xmember and crowns for the IFS and get that ready, then buy your A arms and coils or bags etc afterward. That is prolly the route I'd take instead of buying a complete 1600-2200 full set up all at once.
