Welcome. Nice looking ride. Don't worry about the hatch - just get a soft top. Hard tops trap the heat in the back and without AC in AZ, you're gonna want some airflow. Put the side/back windows up on the soft top and you'll have better air flow but still have protection from the AZ sun.
