I have several 6.5's and put about 800,000 on my 89 C2500 with Getrag 5 speed. 300,000 on the original 6.2 and 500,000 on the GM crate 6.5. 5w30 Amsoil with a FS2500 bypass filter. Oil change about every 20,000 miles. Weighed about 8,900 most every day.
