^^ exactly what i did.
i bought some arms already cupped and they used 8" cups. i took my 2600's out because they were too close for comfort and put my 2500's in.
if your using 2600's, dont go any smaller than 9"id pipe. mine did not touch, but i sure didnt want to risk anything even close to rubbing.
