People buy diesels because they need a diesel. I cant see trying to pull 10,000 pounds and more with a gas truck. I sold my 6.0 gas 2500 and bought a diesel because it was not made to haul my 11k pound boat and trailer, or a 12.5k pound 5th wheel.
If you go price a new diesel truck versus a new gas truck you see why they are more $$ used.
Most people that own a diesel truck to pull around there 5x10 utility trailer should buy a gas truck instead. JMTC.
