What difference does it make? With all due respect, if something is priced above what you feel it's worth, just don't buy it! That's why I don't own the type of home my wife would love to have, and I don't have a garage full of high-dollar rides.
Free markets are self-regulating -- things are worth whatever people are willing to pay. It doesn't matter whether it seems right to you.... or to me. I'm sure not gonna lose sleep over it.....
