Bed sides work welll too, just more work. Two common ways are,

1 Behgine the side marker light/reflector...It works, but is tight. If the stations in main have those big tubes over the pump nozels, it may not be the way to go.

2. Add a fuel door filler to the side. I put a fuel dioor fro an 88-98 C1500 into the side of my truck's old bed. Works good, but just a lof of work to make it look llike it belongs.


Another option, like HuggerCST did, is fix up your fuel tube behide your taillight. It works good, but again a lot of work.

Quickest and easiest is in the bed floor.
