Actually Pete is sending it back (bummer) It seems that the finish is "dry." We are both kinda boggled by it. It does not fit his build and I can see why. The only thing to compare it to is when the door panels get "chalky" and such. He could scratch the finish with his nail on the spoke area. Weird. In no way did I intentionally do this and Pete understands. I merely cleaned it and wiped it down, seen the grain and condition and very nice.

I will be getting it back to investigate, taking care of it, prepping and professionally repainting it black. It will be HIGH QUALITY paint which I use on my consoles and once it is on there... It is on there for good. No scuffing, scratching, etc. I can guarantee its durability and quality. After I am finished I will be placing back up for sale.
