That is so very true. So many people think that when they need more electrical power in their vehicle, that they need a second battery

There are instances where a second battery is needed, but not as a replacement for an under rated alternator

Things add up really quick don't they! People don't treat a battery as it is intended,, they think it is running the car. NO!! there called "STARTING BATTERIES" . The cars electrical system is supposed to be self sufficient in that the alternator provides 100% of the power the car needs,, PLUS enough to replenish the battery after you pull 40-80 amps cranking on the starter.
