Here are some pics of the bracket.
This might be a bit hard to explain and even harder to fab...they are kind of tricky pieces. I will try to explain all the pieces without confusing you too much. I'm honestly not sure if this is the left side or right side, but just reverse everything for the other side.
Here is an overall view of the bracket opened up.
The rod is 3/8" and is 23 1/2" long. There is a bend in the last 1" at 30 degrees. You will notice that the rod is not in line with the angle iron it is welded to, it comes off at 15 degrees
The angle iron is 1" x 1/2". In this picture, the piece that points down is 16 1/2" long, the upper piece is 18 1/2" long. The 1" dimension on the angle iron is facing up in this picture.
This pic shows the bend at the end of the rod.
Same overall view, but turned over.
This pic shows the pivot point on the two pieces of angle iron. They are held together with a bolt and wingnut.
This pic shows the same pivot point from the other side. You can also see that the rod is welded to the underside of the 18 1/2" piece of angle.
These pics show the two short pieces of 3/8" rod at the end of the angle, they are also welded in place. They are both 3 1/2" long, it is 3" to the center of the bend. The bend is 1". The rods are welded to the face of the angle iron. The one on the left comes off the end at 20 degrees. The other one comes off straight.
This pic shows the bracket folded up.
This last pic is the bracket that I had to fab up that attaches at the top of the windshield post. It is 3 1/2" on the long side and 1 1/2" on the short side.
