It is a great idea to repop these hooks. If you have your engineer involved I am sure he would consider the tensile stress and shear if they were to be used for pulling etc. The price of others hooks would drop but this site is all about preserving these trucks for future generations and what a way to do it by making a part that is almost extinct available to everyone.

There is no reason not to get this done if you can arrange it. You would sell LOTS of them at 100-200 per set. I would want a couple sets for things I am working on.
