Not exactly sure about GMC frame but the frame is way different when comparing. 60-62 has x frame 63 on up have straight frame my buddy bought a kit stating the same 60-72 it would not bolt up due to the curve of the frame right over the axel come to think of it his is a 60 GMC so maybe the same frame as you I did put a c notch i got from KP but now i got a step notch
