Got it all back together today and after vacuum tried to charge, it is cool here today around 60 with low humidity , the system would not take the Freon. I got about 15 oz in and the clutch is at least starting to cycle. The hose line past the orifice freezes up when the engine is at 1500 RPM and then quickly un-freezes back at idle.

Is this normal on cool days or do I have a problem I have over looked?
