The CPP column is a 1" DD shaft and the stock column is a 3/4 round. Looks like they just ground some flats on the old shaft and slid it into the 1" DD and welded it to the new DD column. A stock van or truck column shaft will not fit a CPP column. What exactly are you trying to fix?
