Walker is right though, if your tranny is not an overdrive, then we are dealing with a TH350, and the kick down is not all that important.
It's nice to have, but you can go without and have it on the road untill you can sort that part out.
A junk yard is a great place to get the little odds and ends for this kind of swap. If you go to the right yards, they won't even charge you for little BS parts.
