Those first generation Auroras are nothing but a problem waiting to happen.
I have seen many of them at the auctions, but they had a lot of electrical issues.
The 4.0 is peppy when it runs right, but super expensive to fix.
People don't want them, as to why the price is so low.
I too agree a great daily driver is a 9c1 Caprice with the LT1.
They are a great car with one weak spot being the 4l60E.
Once a compentent tranny guy rebuilds them they are fine, but right out of the GM factory they are failure prone.
Mine has 170k miles and looks and runs like new.
Definitely one of the last great GM cars.
