Sounds like you've had a busy year! Nice job on the frame.
On the engine I would suggest pulling the heads and oil pan to inspect the rotating assembly and cylinder bore since you are going to be digging in and swapping the cam. That and upgrade to an HEI distributor. Probably obvious but: dist cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, new carb or rebuild the existing one, a new intake manifold would probably be a good idea also to get the most from your cam upgrade, NOS
