Re: mounting alternator

This is what I fabbed. Rams horn manifold with original generator bracket mounting lugs. I uses a long waterpump so I used angle to move the alt forward to match the pulleys. Made a adjustment bracket out of two short ones I had. I wanted the alternator to lay off to the side to show off the valve covers. My ps pump mounts on the water pump with stock bracket, I made an adjustment angle off of the front exhaust maniford bolt. After market stuff to me looks too bulky, you lift the hood and all you see are brackets hiding the engine.
