I've been looking into your suggestions for a bit. Shackle flip is a nice option, but on my truck its going to interfere with the exhaust (I have full exhaust to the rear bumper).

Those lift springs are looking very nice! I've noticed Pro Comp sells them, for an affordable price. Since I'm fairly new in this 4x4 stuff, is Pro Comp a quality brand?

Its also good to know that there are Caltracs for my truck. I already figured I'd have to use some kind of ladder/traction bar to keep things stable.
