I don’t think you’re going to have any issues with your standard, run of the mill drop job on mild wheels (< 22”). My dually is dropped 6” up front (3” spring, 3” spindle) on a 225/75/16 (29”-30” o.d.) and I don’t have any issues, although I did pull my inner fenders.
You really only start to see the interference issues on bagged and bodied trucks running big wheels (> 22”).
