I disagree. I used a spacer on mine and it was open with my divided plane intake and actually helped in bottom end and torque. Sure a large tunnel ram won't help any on lower RPM and torque but this is such a small "tunnel ram" that it just helps the fuel and O2 blend better and creates more power.
