First I sprayed the frame down with oven cleaner then I powered wash and scrubbed with a course scrub pad. I found they work real good. Then I sand blaster the frame with portable blaster. The primer I used was the rustoluem rusty metal primer. It covered well and cheap ($8 a can at walmart). For paint I used Rustoluem semi gloss black. Same price as the primer and covers well.
