His had all of the screw holes in the weirdest places and they came from the factory that way. Thanks...makes sense of it being early run with firstowner's being from early 69...

I like it better this way when together but refinishing won't be fun...thinking that since it's a black console anyways...I will remove the rest of the original label, clean it up, prep it, and paint it....it's got some minor grain wear but no cracks or holes so will make a nice console and seems it's rare so I'll advertise for someone with an early run 69 wanting a "correct" resto
