they measure volume for containers not weight , the guy importing the truck for me put a lot of extra stuff in the bed and the cab and stacked a lot around the truck to get the price per item down
i was planning on having him do the same with an LS/LX engine (depending on if he wants the rest for parts here i take it and all the wiring out of the donor in the states or just plunk it of at his place to be put in the container)
i think the dollar has risen about half its worth since then

it isnt a realy good place for trucks here if you look at it from a sane persons view , it rains a lot , they use salt in the winter the parkingspaces at the malls aren't big enough to park them in without their but sticking out ontoo the road and they dont fit in normal storageunits like i have under my home , but there a couple of enthousiasts that like to stand out in the crowd that use them . go to meets and stuff like that they usually pamper the trucks and spend a LOT on parts for them
the shortbeds and blazers and S10 trucks have an advantage being shorter
See Mike now U can show the wife your not the only hardcore c10 luver out there...That's a hell of a struggle to want to drive something "different" Even if it is a square body......lol.......jim
