To me it feels like it is locking up. At higway speeds you can give it gas and she will increase speed pretty good. If you get into good enough she will down shift and move pretty good. My only quesion on it is that when I drive with it in Drive and not Over Drive it does down shift harder when slowing down to a stop.

I just added a Derale transmission pan and a temp gauge this morning so I will be able to keep track of the temp.
