Bad luck set in and I drove my truck that hasn't been on the road in over 2 years all the way to a buddys house (about 40 miles). The reason for the drive was to adjust the valves (making a little noise). Well after pulling the first valve cover 3 rockers were knocked off one valve spring was in pieces, rod was broke, and a valve was bent!!!!!!!!!!!
The other side looked ok but all the valves were wore down. So I guess for my Memorial day the top end is being rebuilt.
