and I need the balancer on, I'm trying to find TDC again. I can not find the groove on the balancer and the gizmo for measuring the advance/retard that attaches to the block is missing.

cdowns idea will work great but I don't have a piece of 1/4" steel plate laying around and with the engine still in the truck it might be hard to get the bolt pattern just right.

In another post someone created the link to the right tool on summits web page but the link is dead now. I think that's what I need but I have no idea what its called or what it looks like.
