you dont have to run a baffled tank, but it is better if you do....it keeps fuel starvation to a minimum, when the fuel level is low, and you're on the throttle....I have a normal blazer tank, and I have to keep the fuel tank level above 1/8 if I'm gonna be foolin around....lookin back I wish I woud've bought the 87 blazer tank...
