I have a static drop on my 72, 4 1/2" front and a flip kit for about 6" in the rear. I havn't had any problems with the front crossmember hitting the ground, and it does sit very low in the front. But if you are running full tube headers like me you can expect those to hit sometimes. My header collectors are the lowest point on my truck and they are between 2" and 3" off of the ground sitting at ride height. I can hear the collectors kick up rocks on my dads gravel road!
