Go here http://www.huskyspring.com/ to find the part number of the U-bolts you need. Then search for that part number on Rockauto.com as it will be cheaper there. Then you can also get a 5% off coupon for Rockauto from retailmenot.com. I think the HUGE 14.5" long 5/8" u-bolts for my 1 ton were about $8 each after all that. The normal price was like $18 each before that.

As far as the rivets, if you have access to a cutting torch that is the fastest way to knock the head of the rivet off then knock the rivet through. If not a cut off wheel and making little X marks in each rivet, then using a chisel to break off the little bits of the head is pretty easy. Don't waste your time drilling or grinding away on them.
