ok an update. I got the T56 installed. I did use the low hump but it was or is extremly tight. Originally I cut the floor out for the high hump but ended up getting the stock one to work. I built my own motor mounts and modified the tranmission cross member. I stuck my motor as low as possible so that may have helped. I doubt it will work with some of the purchased mounts but am not sure.
The T56 is sure fun, and seems to work really good with my 3.73 gears. I cruise at 1500 rpm at 70 mph. a lower set of gears might be a better option as first still seems a little high. All in all it is a great swap.
