Most people drill 1/4" holes along the overlap on the top of the rocker and also on the pinch weld on the bottom as well. Plug weld or rosette weld through the hole to the surface underneath where they overlap. This is where GM attached them but with a spotwelder. There are some pics on the last page of my build that show how I just finished this. (link in my sig) I'm no pro thats just what I saw in my assembly manual and most people on here do to attach them to the floor. Keep up the work man I love the whole floor replacement, should have done that one myself, hindsight.....
