No, they are not the same. I am in the process of swapping an 87 suspension into my 69 1/2 ton 4x4. They are taller in places and dont have the same curvature over the wheelwells. I ended up swapping the springs, axles and mounting brackets. Needless to say I got introduced to removing rivots (from both frames) the hard way.
