Re: couple of questions

I've got a guy here running low 10's in a 3200 pound Nova runnign Hughes Street-Streep TH350 and a jeggs house brand 3800 stall converter. (The trans was ordered fron Summit because it was apparently cheaper to go from Phx, to Ohio, and back to 35 miles SE of Phx,,,,, than to buy direct from Hughes <shuush I didn't say that>) He's pulling low 1.4 sixtys on a 9" tire, but foot braking which is a heck of a lot easier on running gear.

That said, Hughes is built RIGHT. I ran one of their race preped TH350's with a sportsman brake in the 66 truck for about 8 years varying in the 12's to mid 11's with a 200HP shot. , I run one of their TH400's with protree brake in there now with the 10 second combination, and run one of the Hughes Pro Glides in my Nova at 9.13/ 148, with a Hughes converter.

So I don't say Hughes just because I've had good luck with 'one' of their trans,, but with every one I've had.
