From your original post, I had no idea you had a donor truck.
If you still have the 72 parts truck,... use the a-arms and ALL of the steering linkage.
Donor trucks are a great way to do the swaps on the cheap,... but make sure you inspect all the components closely.
Replace anything that is bad.
I had $600 in my last total front end rebuild.
So if your original front end is still good,... a $219 set of conversion spindles is way cheaper than replace all the other compnents.
Plus you can still use the rest of the brake parts from the donor truck.

The brake pedal should be the same on both trucks.
I would use as many parts from the donor truck as you can,... including all the steel brake lines.
