I was just planning to put the carpet in and not mark or drill the holes until I got the buckets. Yeah, it has to sit for a few weeks, but the wheels / suspension would be out from under it anyway.. It's not going to hurt for it to sit without seats in it for a bit.

I'd really like t ogo a little lower actually with the seat position. Not just for the pimpin look from the side .. but just overall leg room. the 3OTT gets a little uncomfortable in 3rd sometimes. the gear shift is right on my knee.

I had actually considered building / modifying a set of mounts to make them about 1-1.5" lower than factory buckets. Plus, I look like I'm 8ft tall when I drive it when it had the bench in it.

ALSO* the bench will be for sale soon. I can't really ship it, but if anyone is interested. (?) Not sure what to ask for it.
