So true. My old truck is a lil'ruff around the edges but the cab corners and rockers are solid. Very little rust in the floor pans. Fenders have no rust at all. Only rust is the panel just above the windshield and soon as my brother brings me his welder that will be replaced. I just can't bring myself to hack up a cab that is this solid, to cage it. As much as I like racing trucks and even tho the truck is SOOOO much cooler then the coupe I just cant do it.
Plus my son has told me that once I kick the bucket and he gets the truck he wants to do a full restoration on it. He said it with such conviction I asked if I should worry about him speeding the passing down of the truck along.
