And i can keep it from dying if i dont let rpms drop. It has an aftermarket harness. I am 90% sure its the PO installed harness, i just havent had time to get a meter on it.

This may sound dumb but i once had a fuel filter do somthing like that. i figure when the truck would die the particals in the filter would settle allowing enough fuel through to start the cycle over again
