Maybe not- my wife helped me with mine and it slid right in- just make sure you use something to lubricate the seal...

Looks good. Maybe turn it 90° so the wires go directly into the fender instead of down, then over?

Mags first, Vintecs second- nice timeless, classic look to both. Distant third to the street star- they just look like '90s billets to me...
