Drain the transmission, because you will lose fluid once the driveshaft is removed and you start removing the assembly.
Take off the hood, remove the radiator.
Get a helper.
Have a place to store the engine/trans when removed, I wouldn't leave it hanging from the houst or just sitting on the floor.
Have lots of rags and cleaning supplies handy to clean up the mess you are about to make
