I would have recommended something better than POR15. You have it so use it. Do you have a compressor? Buy some plastic bags. Cover up anything you don't want to paint. Use an inexpensive paint gun from Harbor Freight. Using a small compressor, the bigger the better, spray the entire engine bay. Degrease everything good first.
A nice looking engine bay earns these!!
