Send me in the right direction on what rear end
Ive got a 79 blazer and after breaking the pinion yoke on my factory 12 bolt this weekend ive decided to upgrade my axles. I hear people talking about 14 bolts and dana 60s or they say yeah i have 1 ton or 3/4 axles under it. What i would like to know is what trucks came with what? Did 3/4 and 1 ton 4x4s both have the same front axles? how can i tell a dana 60 and a 14 bolt apart? also will any 73-87 chevy blazer burb truck 3/4 or 1 ton axle bolt right in? or is there diffrences in driveshafts and spring perches or width?
