If you're not sure, take off the cap, blow dry it, then re-install and see if it starts. Sounds stupid, I know - happened to me though. Truck kept drowning out over puddles, and this turned out to be the problem.

I also hit the inside of the distributor cap with WD-40. The L6 design, with the distributor on the side, is prone to shipping water when splashing thru intersections and fording wet draws.
Check your battery terminal connections. Wet weather can hasten corrosion of the terminals and leads.
