Re: Parking brake driving me nuts!
Are the shoes adjusted correctly? Is the cable tight when the parking brake pedal is hard, 1/3 the way down? If it is tight and no oil or glazing on the shoes or drums I would get out the shop manual and make sure all components are installed in the right location, orientation, etc. Something is a miss.
