Re: V8 or stick with the old six

Well after ALOT of deliberation, thought and beer, I have actually completely started over on my 'Burb drivetrain. We started out with a '90 TBI 350, then we upgraded to the 427 with TBI from a 454. Well along came a gentleman that was REALLY interested in my 427 AND had the $100 bills to back up his interest.

So, we're sitting here bench racing, and trying to come up with something........back to the basics, keep it simple, keep it clean, keep it useable for daily errands.

So, just scored a 250 L6 from a buddy at the machine shop, they are going thru it, making some small changes and in we go, backed up with the 700R4 trans, and with any luck, adding a turbo.

I've had alot of engine combinations, from a 2.5L 4 popper to a 526 Keith Black blown alcohol motor in various rides. But still think the ole sixes are pretty cool.
