If you guys had this to do over again, would you do it? I'm betting, no question .. absolutely.

Life's too short to pay $40k for a new truck then loose your ass as soon as you drive it off the lot. Pay taxes on it, $500 in dealer fees then when it comes time for a new one the 'depreciation' is just accepted nowadays as the norm.

I just like the idea of not only feeling like you're investing into something you're eventually going to get some of the money back, or even make money on it (?) .. and there's just something about these old trucks. It takes you back to the time when life was just a bit more simple. No cell phones, navigation, manual shift (I love a 3OTT) etc.

I'd bet this drive will be remembered for a lifetime. What a cool trip, and I'd say it's taken the friendship to another level too.

Cant wait to see the pics.
