Re: Lock-Right in a 12 Bolt
I ran Lock-Rights front and back (D44/9.25) in a 70s Power Wagon with a 4speed and a 383 a few years ago. They both were warrantied in under 3 months due to rounding the teeth off. Second set, the rear survived longer than the front. A Detroit has better road manners. This is in a NP435/NP205 truck on 33x10.5 Swampers.
My experience with the Lock-Right is not isolated, I know a couple other people that made the same mistake.
The Lock-Right seems to hold up fine on the street, for what that is worth. But offroad in a heavy truck? They suck.
