I drive my 81 Dually 3+3 GMC 3500, 454/t400 unknown gears here run at the moment solely on gas (propane), propane tank is 60 gallons and I get roughly 385 miles or so to a tank at roughly $2.83US/gallon which if I've worked it out right is around 6.42mpg? Propane burns at roughly double the rate of petrol though so would be around 13mpg I'm guessing on petrol, although our petrol here is $5.74US/gallon so it's cheaper to run the truck on propane at this point.
