the top of the chassis is wider in 67 trucks cause there wasn't a big block available in 67 so you might have to grind it town to fit your big block headers/manifolds and the firewall is different on 67's compared to 68-72 trucks by the air box. it was made wider in 68 for the big block to fit. I am unsure but not sure if the firewall really makes a difference but the factory did it that way. first pic is 67 firewall and 2nd is 68-72
