Mine didn't have to be ground down at all except to get the cap on. The wheels fit fine. The only issue with mine was the back tire scubbed a little when it bottom out. 1/4" spacer, deep thread lugs and a tad more air in the helper bags solved all that though!
I've had mine over a year now.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
